So wow has it been a while! Welcome back, everyone.

I know a lot of you have probably been wondering things like "Oh, is Taylor dead?" or "That dastardly sly dog isn't updating Monsterkind anymore! She must have given up on the comic that double crossing backstabber! Just when we were falling in love with these characters! How dare she!" Well, you might not have thought something that...descriptive, but I'm sure you've been wondering where I and the comic went.

The truth is, the last few months of 2012 really hit me hard. Between taking on way too many projects, balancing a part time job, and balancing some pretty awful stuff like an immediate family member being hospitalized for a week and having a super huge and terrible break up, a lot of things happened and Monsterkind went on the back burner much to my dismay. Believe me, not being able to update has been a really awful and disappointing thing for me. But here we are! 2013! A new year and a clean slate, and a few ends closed up and a few doors closed while new ones open.

Unfortunately this isn't the most spectacular and stunning page to come back to, but at least it opens the year up with a little bit of mystery, eh? Who are those people in that photograph? Why is Molly such a badass mother figure? What even IS a monster anyway?

Monsterkind resumes its normal Tuesday & Friday update schedule after today.
